Terms of Service of Aurensol Unipessoal LDA

1. General Information

This document sets out the terms and conditions under which aurensol.com (hereinafter, "Aurensol") provides its products and services to users of its online store. By making a purchase or browsing our website, you accept these terms of service.

2. Use of the Website

By accessing and using this website, you declare that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. Improper use of this site is not permitted, including fraudulent activities or using the site for unlawful purposes.

3. Purchase Process

The customer may select products from the online store and add them to the shopping cart. Once the selection is confirmed, the indicated payment steps must be completed. At the end of the purchase process, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

4. Prices and Payments

All prices shown on the website include taxes, unless otherwise indicated. Aurensol Unipessoal LDA reserves the right to modify prices at any time, although changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

In case of a discrepancy between the displayed price and the actual price due to technical errors, the customer will be informed before processing the order and may choose to cancel it at no cost.

5. Warranties

Private customers vs. professionals (self-employed or companies)

The legal warranty of 3 years indicated in this section applies exclusively to private customers (end consumers), in accordance with the current consumer regulations in the European Union and in Portugal (Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021).

In the case of sales to companies, self-employed individuals, or professionals, the commercial warranty offered by Aurensol is 1 year from the date of delivery, unless the manufacturer specifies a longer period.

Warranty Coverage
The warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects. The following are not covered:

  • Damage resulting from improper use, incorrect handling, or inadequate installation.

  • Natural wear due to continuous use or external conditions.

  • Damage caused by external events, electrical accidents, or overloads.

  • Products modified or repaired by unauthorized third parties.

  • Incorrect software or hardware configuration performed by the customer.

  • Breakdowns caused by components added by the customer.

  • Infections by computer viruses.

  • For water pumps, damage or wear caused by sand, mud, or other impurities.

Additional Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may include a commercial warranty longer than the legal minimum. In such cases, this extended warranty will be offered directly by the manufacturer. Aurensol will facilitate contact, but responsibility will lie with the manufacturer.

Warranty Management
In the event of a manufacturing defect, the customer must contact Aurensol to arrange repair, replacement, or refund. An initial remote assessment (photographs, videos, or other technical information) may be carried out before starting the process.

Transport Costs

  • The customer will bear the shipping costs to the technical service.

  • If the warranty is approved, the repaired or replaced product will be returned without additional transport costs for mainland Portugal and Spain.

  • For other destinations (Madeira, Azores, Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, or other European countries), the customer will bear the transport, customs, or tax costs.

6. Returns and Refunds

The customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, provided that it is a purchase made by a private consumer and the product has not been installed, used, or handled.

Sales made to companies, professionals, or self-employed individuals are excluded from the right of withdrawal, unless previously agreed in writing with Aurensol.

7. Shipping

Aurensol undertakes to ship the products within the timeframes indicated in the product description, except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Shipments will be made to the address provided by the customer at the time of purchase. For more information, see our Shipping Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

Aurensol is not responsible for:

  • Damages resulting from misuse of the products.

  • Delays in delivery caused by reasons beyond our control.

  • Indirect losses such as loss of income or profits.

Aurensol strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but we cannot guarantee that it is free from typographical errors or inaccuracies. We reserve the right to correct such errors at any time and without prior notice.

In the event that an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer to offer an appropriate solution.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

The content, design, and structure of aurensol.com, as well as the products and promotional materials, are protected by copyright. Total or partial reproduction of the content is not permitted without the express consent of Aurensol.

10. Personal Data Protection

Aurensol is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. All personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable data protection legislation.

11. Amendments to the Terms

Aurensol reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications will take effect upon publication, but will not affect orders already confirmed.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For any dispute related to these terms, both parties shall submit to the competent courts and tribunals of Portimão (Portugal), expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
