The DC PV Protection Box GAVE STM11040P12 1 MPPT 1 String 12A 1000V concentrates, in a compact and robust format, all critical safety functions for the direct current side of a photovoltaic installation with one MPPT and a single string. It incorporates a 12 A gPV fuse per pole to protect against reverse currents, a general 40 A 1000 VDC isolator that allows safe operation and maintenance, and a Type II PV surge arrester that protects the inverter and generator against transients. Its polycarbonate enclosure with double insulation (Class II), IP65 and IK7 protection rating, is designed for outdoor use (depending on installation) and to withstand the demands of rooftops and residential or small commercial environments. The internal DIN rail layout, accessible terminals, and clear labeling reduce installation time and facilitate future inspections.
