The SMA DC-SPD-KIT4-10 is a Type 2 (Class II) direct current surge protection device, manufactured by Raycap (model ProTec T2-1100PV). It has been specifically designed for direct integration into the SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1 inverter, effectively protecting PV strings against surges induced by lightning or grid switching.
