The Type B RCCB 2P 40A 30mA Tongou TORD4B-63 is designed for single-phase installations with higher rated currents. As a class B device, it detects and acts against sinusoidal, pulsating, and smooth direct current leakage, a common requirement in electric vehicle charging points, photovoltaic inverters on the grid side, and systems with variable speed drives. Its rated current of 40 A allows it to serve lines with greater capacity, while maintaining 30 mA sensitivity for personal protection and regulatory compliance in residential, commercial, and light industrial panels.
