The SMA Sunny Boy Storage 5kW SBS5.0-10 HV Inverter Charger expands the power of the Sunny Boy Storage family while maintaining the AC coupling philosophy and multistring versatility. With 5 kW (5 kVA) nominal power, max. efficiency of 97.5% and three fully independent high-voltage battery inputs (parallelizable), it allows integration and expansion of HV lithium banks with total flexibility. Its IP65 fanless design ensures quiet and reliable outdoor operation, while WLAN/Ethernet connectivity, Webconnect, and Modbus (SMA/SunSpec) provide advanced monitoring and energy management via Sunny Portal and SMA Energy App. It features a 3.68 kW Secure Power Supply emergency output and supports automatic backup with an external device.
