The SMA Sunny Boy Smart Energy 5kW HV Hybrid Inverter SBSE5.0-50 Single-Phase combines in a single device the on-grid inverter and the high-voltage battery manager to take self-consumption with storage to the next level. With 5 kW (5 kVA) nominal power, maximum efficiency of 97.5%, and IP65 enclosure, this “two-in-one” hybrid allows you to maximize solar energy, store it in HV batteries, and supply it quickly thanks to its 30 A charge/discharge stage. It integrates WLAN/Ethernet (Speedwire), Webconnect, and Modbus (SMA/SunSpec) connectivity, monitoring in Sunny Portal/Places, and the proactive SMA Smart Connected service. Includes Secure Power Supply (SPS) of 3.68 kW for emergencies and offers an optional automatic back-up function by adding the corresponding hardware.
