The SMA Sunny Tripower 5kW STP5.0-3SE-40 Three-Phase HV Hybrid Inverter is the “all-in-one” evolution for three-phase self-consumption with high-voltage battery. It integrates a grid-tied inverter, HV battery charger/manager, and automatic backup function to maintain household loads during an outage (using switching accessories and protections required by regulations). With 5 kW (5 kVA) nominal power, 2 MPPTs, and IP65 enclosure, it offers high efficiency, reliable outdoor installation, and fast commissioning via the web assistant. Native connectivity (WLAN/Ethernet, Modbus/SunSpec) and the SMA Smart Connected service simplify control and maintenance, while its HV architecture maximizes charge/discharge efficiency and compatibility with high-voltage lithium batteries.
