Product Description

The Steca PR2020 12/24V PWM Controller with Display is designed for off-grid solar installations that require higher charging current without losing visual control and precision over the battery status. It belongs to the renowned Steca PR 10–30 series and combines a shunt topology with MOSFETs and a multi-stage PWM charging algorithm (bulk, boost, float, and monthly equalization) that minimizes sulfation and extends the service life of 12 or 24 V batteries. The Steca AtonIC system calculates the SOC (State of Charge) with great accuracy and displays it on a graphical LCD display along with voltage, current, and accumulated energy. Its internal energy logger (resettable data logger), self-diagnosis with fault messages, and automatic load disconnection/reconnection facilitate daily operation and incident resolution.
