The Lorentz PU600 CS-17-1 Fig.13 Mechanical Seal is the dynamic sealing assembly that seals the shaft passage between the impeller and the pump end flange. Composed of two polished faces (one rotating and one stationary), elastic elements, and a compression spring, it keeps the circuit hermetically sealed even while the pump is operating, protecting the motor and hydraulic assembly against leaks and air ingress.
