    • DC 12/24 V for marine/camper or off-grid homes with batteries.
    • 230 V AC when grid or generator is available and higher continuous flow rates are required.
  • Hydraulic type: submersible (wells/high water columns), surface (tanks/transfers), or pressure set (stable internal network).
  • Water quality: potable, with sediments, or brackish; select suitable materials (AISI 304/316, Viton/Santoprene elastomers) and filtration.
  • Compatibility: check well diameter (3"–4"), hydraulic and electrical connections, and availability of spare parts.

Best installation practices

  • Size according to the actual operating point (not by catalog maximums). Check the flow-head curve of the model.
  • Minimize losses: use pipes of suitable diameter, short runs, and as few elbows as possible.
  • Install a foot valve and suction filter (surface pumps) and a non-return valve on the discharge side.
  • Protect against dry running with probes/press-control; for solar, coordinate PV power, MPPT controller, and motor limits.
  • For pressure, add a pressure tank to reduce cycles and noise; adjust the pressure switch.
  • Maintenance plan: clean filters, check electrical connections, and periodically inspect seals.
