Filter and sort
What does the Pump Accessories collection include?
This collection brings together the essential external components to control, protect, and enhance any pumping system: MPPT controllers and control units, converters for solar/AC hybridization, electrical protections, probes and sensors, expansion tanks, filters, and valves. They are compatible with submersible pumps, surface pumps, pressure groups, and pool filters. For internal parts (motors, hydraulic bodies, seals, and consumables from brands such as Lorentz, Shurflo, or ZIRI) use the Spare Parts collection.
Available accessory families
- Control and MPPT: Lorentz PS2 controllers (150/200/600/1800/4000), Grundfos CU200 for SQFlex, Shurflo LCB-G75 for 9325.
- Solar/AC hybridization: Lorentz PowerPack converters (PP2000S, PP600H, PP4000AC) for 230 V single-phase backup.
- Electrical protections: PV Disconnect boxes (1/3/5/6 strings), DC Surge Protector, isolation and IP safety.
- Sensors: Well Probe (well probe), Float Switch (level switch), Sun Sensor (solar sensor) to optimize start/stop logic.
- Auxiliary hydraulics: inline filters/prefilters, strainers, check valves, and foot valves.
- Pressure and comfort: Ibaiondo expansion tanks (20–100 L) to stabilize pressure and reduce cycles in pressure pumps.
Advantages of integrating suitable accessories
- Safety: DC/AC protections and dry run detection prevent costly damage.
- Efficiency: MPPT controllers maximize useful solar hours; PowerPack provides continuity with 230 V backup.
- Durability: filtration and expansion tanks reduce wear, water hammer, and start cycles.
- Flexibility: sensors (well/tank/sun) allow automation of pumping and adaptation to actual demand.
How to choose the right accessories
-
System architecture:
- Solar submersible: compatible MPPT controller (PS2/CU200/LCB), Well Probe, Sun Sensor, and DC protection.
- Hybrid submersible: PowerPack or hybrid controller, float switches/probes, and check valve.
- Solar surface: foot valve and strainer on suction, MPPT, dry running protection.
- Pressure 12/24V or 230V: pressure tank 20–100 L, suction filter (≈50 µm), pressure switch/press-control.
- Pool filters: pre-filter/skimmer, manometer, timer, and DC/AC protections.
- Electrical compatibility: equipment voltage/current, number of PV strings, and required protection degree (IP).
- Water quality: presence of sediments → use appropriate strainer/filter and check valves.
- Operational objective: autonomy (more sensors and MPPT), continuity (230 V hybridization), comfort (pressure tank and fine regulation).
Selection guide table
| Requirement | Recommended accessory | Typical application |
| Prioritize solar energy | Controller PS2/CU200/LCB-G75 | Solar submersible/surface |
| 230 V backup | Lorentz PowerPack (PP2000S/PP600H/PP4000AC) | Hybrid systems 230 V single-phase |
| Avoid dry running | Well Probe, Float Switch | Variable wells/tanks |
| Optimize starts by irradiation | Sun Sensor | Direct solar without batteries |
| Reduce cycles/noise | Ibaiondo Expansion Tank 20–100 L | Domestic pressure pumps |
| Protect PV electronics | PV Disconnect and Surge Protector | All solar systems |
Installation best practices
- Place DC protections before the controller and size cable sections to limit voltage drop.
- On suction, install a foot valve + strainer; on discharge, a check valve to maintain the column.
- Set up dry run and level (well/tank) alarms in the controller.
- Adjust the expansion tank to the service pressure and periodically check its precharge.
- Maintenance plan: filter cleaning, protection testing, terminal and tightness verification.
